Terms of Use

1. Medical disclaimer (please read)

BPlus is a wellness and informational tool to help you record, organize and understand blood-pressure readings. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition, and it does not measure blood pressure on its own — you enter readings manually or scan them from your own blood-pressure monitor. BPlus is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, or for a clinically validated blood-pressure monitor. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional with any questions about your health, and never disregard or delay seeking medical advice because of something in the App. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your doctor or emergency services immediately.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use BPlus for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and the applicable app-store terms.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) and able to form a binding contract to use BPlus.

4. Subscriptions and purchases

BPlus may offer paid features or subscriptions. Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed via RevenueCat. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel anytime in your App Store / Google Play account settings. Prices and offerings may change. Refunds are handled according to the applicable app store's policies.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, including: reverse-engineering or attempting to extract source code (except as permitted by law); interfering with or disrupting the App or its services; using it for any unlawful purpose; or relying on it for medical decisions in place of professional care.

6. Your content and data

You are responsible for the readings and information you enter. Your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for keeping your own backups; we are not liable for any loss of locally stored data (for example, if you delete or lose your device).

7. Intellectual property

BPlus and all related content, branding, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

8. Third-party services

BPlus relies on third-party services (including Apple, Google, the cloud OCR provider, RevenueCat, and Apple Health / Health Connect). Your use of those features may be subject to the third parties' terms, and we are not responsible for their services.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

BPlus is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any reading, category, insight, or report is accurate or suitable for any medical purpose.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BPlus and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) BPlus — including any health decisions made in reliance on the App. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim or USD $50.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using BPlus at any time by deleting it.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date; continued use of BPlus means you accept the changes.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
